TOURISM OBJECT IN TRENGGALEK

                                            

JURUG GUE WATERFALL

Trenggalek is one of regency in East Java which has so many exotics panorama and tourism object. Most of the areas are mountainous that makes Trenggalek has many kinds of natural tourism object. In Trenggalek the natural tourism object that you can find are waterfalls, mountains, caves, beaches, etc.

One of the waterfall in Trenggalek is “Jurug Gue Waterfall”. This waterfall located in the southeast of Mlinjon village Karangan subdistrict. It is about 15 Km fron the center of the city. It just can be reach by motorcycle or car because there is no public transportation to get there. One thing that you have to remember is going to this waterfall has already become a part of adventure. This because the road is still diffucult. Some parts of the road are broken but some of them have been repair by people around there, helped by goverment. Don’t be affraid of being tired because during your journey you will enjoy a village that rounded by green and fertile fields. Here you will get fresh air and cool wind. If you are the nature lover and you want to enjoy the nature, you can choose this place. This is the right place you can visit.

Jurug gue is about 15 m height and on the top of the waterfall there are an extraordinary scienery of Trenggalek from southeast side waiting for you. If you also like hiking, you can hike to reach the top. The water is clear and it can be used for swimming. People around this waterfall use the water for their farming. The water is really clear that you can see some fish swimming in the water. You also can do fishing in this area but you are forbident to use toxic for fish.

For everybody, if you want to come to this place, don’t worry about the fee entering this place. It is free for everyone because it hasn’t been manage by goverment. But don’t forget to bring your equipment and food for yourselves because the inn is far from the waterfall area.

Near the area you can find some industries. There are roof and batako industries. It is not so big but this industries help people around. You also can find a product coming from Mlinjon. That is shanghai nut. This is a kind of crispy junkfood. This food isn’t original comes from this place but it has been produced here many years. The product has been distributed to many areas in Trenggalek.

If you continue your journey to the south. You will find Sederan Pegunungan Kidul and Pantai selatan. This is special for you who likes traveling around the city.
